Add from Anywhere
Forward an email, paste text, share a link, or upload a photo or file. Mavo reads it and turns it into plan items on the shared plan.
The fastest way to keep the plan current is to not retype anything. Send Mavo the thing itself.
Your family's Mavo address
Every family gets its own email address, like your-family@inbound.mavolife.com. Find and copy it in Settings → Send to Mavo (it's also on Home). Forward the school newsletter, the practice schedule, the camp confirmation, the birthday invite.
The family address only accepts mail from people in your family (Mavo matches the sender to a member). Want a school list or a coach to send things in directly? Create an extra address on the same page: extra addresses get their own private name, can accept outside senders if you allow it, and can be turned off or regenerated anytime.
What happens after you send something
Mavo opens a chat and works the item there: it reads the message and any attachments, pulls out dates, tasks, and details, and adds plan items. Photos and files come through too (up to 50 MB each), and Mavo genuinely looks at images, so a photo of a flyer works.
When it finishes, you get a notification, and, if email updates are on, a reply from Mavo. That reply is live: answer it to add context in the same chat, or reply "approve" or "decline" when Mavo is waiting on a go-ahead. If Mavo needs a decision, it pauses and asks; if something fails, it tells you what happened.
In the app
The chat on Home is the same capture surface. Type or paste anything (the note from the backpack, the schedule from the text thread), attach photos or files with the paperclip, or paste an image straight into the box. Share a link in chat and Mavo opens and reads the page while it works.
From your phone
Forwarding email and the web app work well from a phone today. The Mavo phone app, including share-sheet capture from other apps, is being built now and ships to the Family plan and up when it's ready.
Review comes built in
For changes worth a second look, Mavo shows a preview first and waits for your yes in chat. Nothing sensitive happens silently, and everything Mavo adds shows up in What Changed.
