What to know before you connect.
Do I need another subscription from Mavo?
No. Connecting an assistant is included on every Mavo plan. You bring access to the assistant you want to use, and that provider’s availability and plan requirements still apply.
Which assistants work with Mavo?
Mavo works with Claude, ChatGPT, and other assistants that support secure remote custom connections. Provider support changes over time, so the setup guide keeps the current requirements in one place.
Is this the same as Mavo AI?
They work with the same family plan, but the conversation lives in a different place. Mavo AI is built into Mavo. A connected assistant lets you use another AI service you already prefer.
Will Mavo ask me to approve every change again?
No. After you approve the connection, the assistant acts with your Mavo access. Your assistant may ask for confirmation under its own controls, but Mavo does not add a second preview step.
