The hard part was never one big disaster. It was the small stuff arriving from everywhere: a daycare email here, a schedule locked inside a sports app there, a flyer folded into a backpack. Often nothing happened when the information first showed up. We would recover it later through memory, a repeated message, or someone happening to mention it. Nobody missed the party, but somebody was leaving early to buy the present on the way.

So Josh started building the tool we kept wishing was already on our phones: one shared plan for the family, with Mavo AI to do the typing. Forward the email, snap the flyer, paste the schedule, and it lands with dates, owners, and reminders everyone can see. The point was never a prettier calendar. It's that the noticing and the remembering stop living in one person's head. That job has a name in our house now, and we wrote about it.

Our family is Mavo's first family. The daycare emails really get forwarded, the softball schedule really did arrive as a screenshot, and when two parties landed on the same Saturday we compared drive times before deciding who left early. Mavo is early, on purpose, and improving every week, because running our own week on it is the fastest way to find what snags.
