What's on each room sheet

The pages are for one larger clean. They contain familiar task labels, with two extra lines per room. Use the care instructions for each surface or fabric. The sheets don't prescribe products, cleaning methods, or a repeat schedule.

Entry and living spaces: shelves, furniture details, sofa seams, removable textile covers, reachable window glass and floor edges.
Bedroom: bedding, mattress surface, bed frame, drawers, closet shelves and floor, curtains and reachable window glass.
Kitchen: cupboard and pantry shelves, drawer interiors, cutlery tray, backsplash, faucet base, named appliance exteriors and floor edges.
Bathroom: cabinet shelves, drawers, basin, faucet base, shower-door glass and tracks, toilet seat, hinges and base, and floor edges.
Laundry and storage: utility sink, folding surface, storage shelves and bins, baskets, washer and dryer exteriors, and floor edges.

You can see every supplied task in the previews below. This is a starter list for household surfaces and storage spaces. Appliance interiors, high fixtures, specialist work and repairs aren't included.

Pick the rooms and jobs for this clean

Print the pages for the areas you're doing now. For an apartment without a separate laundry room, that might be pages 1-4. If you're only doing the kitchen, print page 3. A second bedroom can have its own copy of page 2; write the room name at the top.

Read the chosen sheet before starting. A kitchen without a table doesn't need the table-and-chair row. A cupboard you've already finished can be checked. Leave work you still intend to do unchecked, so it stays easy to find when you return to the page.

A task can also be made more specific. Change “Clean pantry shelves” to “Clean the baking shelf and snack shelf” if those are the parts you're tackling. Keep additions short enough to see in full when printed. The two extra lines might hold “Small rolling-cart shelves” and “Tea drawer dividers.”

Edit the PDF or use a pen

To type, download the file first and open it in a PDF reader that supports form fields. Select a task to change its wording, or delete its text to omit it. Clearing a task leaves an empty row; the other rows don't move. You can type a room name and two added tasks, and select the small completion boxes.

Save a new copy, close it, then reopen it before printing. Check that edited words and checkmarks are visible. Each task is one line, so shorten text that reaches the edge. If your phone or browser preview doesn't support form editing, open the downloaded file in a PDF reader or print it and make your changes by hand.

On paper, cross out jobs you're skipping and tick the boxes beside jobs you've finished. The checklist doesn't set a deadline: you can keep the unfinished page and come back to the remaining rows.

Print the pages you'll use

Choose the file that matches your paper: US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches, and A4 is 210 × 297 mm. Use Actual size or 100%, with one document page per sheet. Select individual pages in the print dialog instead of printing the whole kit. Preview the selected pages before printing.

The sheets use dark text on white paper and work in grayscale. A single room per page leaves space for handwritten changes. Print a fresh copy for another room of the same kind; the small room-name line keeps the copies apart.
