## 2026–27 student dates

- July 3: Independence Day observance. Independence Day observance; schools and offices are closed.
- August 24: First day of school. First day for all students.
- September 4: Schools closed. Schools are closed to students. The calendar says any necessary make-up days will be scheduled at the superintendent’s direction; it does not identify this date as a specific make-up date.
