## 2026–27 student dates

- July 4: Holiday. Holiday for staff and students.
- August 3 to 12: No school. Students do not attend during staff development and the teacher work day.
- August 13: First day of school. First student day of the school year.
- August 13: Grading period begins. Beginning of the first 9-week grading period.
- September 7: Holiday. Holiday for staff and students.
- September 23: Early dismissal. Early dismissal for prekindergarten, elementary, and middle school students; staff development is also scheduled.
- October 7: Early dismissal. Early dismissal for high school students.
- October 8: Grading period ends. End of the first 9-week grading period.
- October 9: Student holiday. Students do not attend; staff development day.
- October 12: Holiday. Holiday for staff and students.
- October 13: Grading period begins. Beginning of the second 9-week grading period.
- October 22: Early dismissal. Early dismissal for prekindergarten and elementary students for parent-teacher conferences.
- October 23: Early dismissal. Early dismissal for prekindergarten and elementary students for parent-teacher conferences.
- October 29: Early dismissal. Early dismissal; the calendar does not specify an audience.
