## 2026–27 student dates

- July 1 to 3: Unified closure. Students are off during the district's unified closure.
- July 4: Independence Day. Independence Day.
- July 6: Non-school day. Marked as a non-school day.
- August 11: First day of school and grading period begins. First student day and beginning of the first nine-week period.
- September 7: Labor Day. Students do not attend for Labor Day.
- October 8: First grading period ends. The first nine-week grading period ends.
- October 9 to 13: Fall Break. Students are off for Fall Break, which includes Indigenous Peoples' Day on October 12.
- October 12: Indigenous Peoples' Day. Indigenous Peoples' Day is listed during Fall Break; students are off for the break.
- October 14: Grading period begins. The next nine-week grading period begins.
- November 2 to 3: No school. Students do not attend November 2 or 3. November 2 is professional development; November 3 is AM professional development and a PM teacher work day.
- November 23 to 27: Thanksgiving Break. Students are off for Thanksgiving Break.
- December 18: Grading period and first semester end. The second nine-week grading period and first semester end.
- December 21, 2026 to January 1, 2027: Winter Break. Students are off for Winter Break through January 1.
- January 4 to 5: No school. Students do not attend January 4 or 5. January 4 is professional development; January 5 is a teacher work day.
- January 6: Second semester and grading period begin. The second semester and third nine-week grading period begin.
- January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Students do not attend for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
- February 15: Non-school day. Students are off on this non-school day.
- March 11: Grading period ends. The third nine-week grading period ends.
- March 12: No school. Students do not attend; professional development is scheduled.
- March 15 to 19: Spring Break. Students are off for Spring Break.
- March 22: Grading period begins. The fourth nine-week grading period begins.
- March 26: Non-school day. Students are off on this non-school day.
- April 19: Inclement weather day. Listed as an inclement weather day and not included in the printed student-day total for the fourth grading period.
- May 27: Last day of school and grading period ends. Last student day; the fourth nine-week grading period ends.
- May 28: No school. Teacher work day; students do not attend.
- May 31: Non-school day. Students are off on this non-school day.
- June 17: Non-school day. Marked as a non-school day.
- June 19: Juneteenth. Juneteenth.
