## 2026–27 student dates

- September 3: First student day. All students report to school; full day for K–12 students and half-day for Pre-K students.
- September 4: Pre-K half-day. Half-day for Pre-K students.
- September 7: Labor Day. Schools are closed.
- September 21: Yom Kippur. Schools are closed.
- October 12: Columbus/Indigenous People’s Day. Schools are closed.
- November 3: No school for students. Schools are closed for students for Superintendent’s Conference Day.
- November 6: Middle and high school first marking period ends. First marking period ends for middle and high schools, grades 7–12.
- November 9, 2026 to January 29, 2027: Middle and high school second marking period. Second marking period for middle and high schools, grades 7–12, begins.
- November 11: Veterans’ Day. Schools are closed.
- November 25: Half-day for all students. Half-day for all students.
- November 25: Elementary fall marking period ends. Fall marking period ends for elementary schools, grades 1–6.
- November 26 to 27: Thanksgiving recess. Thanksgiving recess; schools are closed.
- November 30, 2026 to March 12, 2027: Elementary winter marking period. Winter marking period for elementary schools, grades 1–6, begins.
- December 11: Elementary half-day. All students report to school; elementary students attend a half-day.
- December 23: Half-day for all students. Half-day for all students.
- December 24 to 31: Holiday recess. Holiday recess; schools are closed.
- January 1: New Year’s Day. Schools are closed.
