## 2026–27 student dates

- July 3: Independence Day. Independence Day; schools and offices are closed.
- August 24: First day of school. First day of school for students.
- August 31: First day of pre-K. First day for pre-K students.
- September 7: Labor Day. Labor Day; schools and offices are closed.
- September 18: No school for students. Students do not attend; teacher in-service day.
- September 24: Two-hour early dismissal. Two-hour early dismissal; teacher planning day (TP\#1).
- October 27: First marking period ends. First marking period ends.
- October 28: Second marking period begins. Second marking period begins.
- October 30: Two-hour early dismissal. Two-hour early dismissal for grade preparation.
- November 3: Election Day. Election Day; schools are closed for students and teachers.
- November 6: No school for students. Students do not attend; parent-teacher conferences are scheduled.
- November 11: Veterans Day. Veterans Day; schools and offices are closed.
- November 19: Two-hour early dismissal. Two-hour early dismissal; teacher planning day (TP\#2).
- November 25 to 27: Thanksgiving break. Thanksgiving break; schools and offices are closed November 25–27.
- December 3: Two-hour early dismissal. Two-hour early dismissal; teacher planning day (TP\#3).
- December 21 to 31: Winter break. Winter break closure on the printed school-closure dates: December 21–25 and December 28–31.
