## 2026–27 student dates

- August 24: First student day: grades 1–5, 6, and 9. First student day for grades 1–5 and grades 6 and 9. ECSE, Pre-K, and Kindergarten students have conferences and do not attend.
- August 24 to 25: No school for ECSE, Pre-K, and Kindergarten: conferences. ECSE, Pre-K, and Kindergarten students have conferences and do not attend.
- August 25: First student day: grades 7, 8, and 10–12. Schools open for grades 1–12. This is the first student day for grades 7, 8, and 10–12. ECSE, Pre-K, and Kindergarten students continue conferences and do not attend.
- August 26: ECSE first day; Pre-K/Kindergarten staggered opening. ECSE classes begin. Pre-K and Kindergarten begin staggered openings; attendance varies by group.
- August 27: Pre-K/Kindergarten staggered opening. Pre-K and Kindergarten continue staggered openings; attendance varies by group.
- August 28: Pre-K/Kindergarten staggered opening. Pre-K and Kindergarten continue staggered openings; attendance varies by group.
- August 31: First day: all ECSE, Pre-K, and Kindergarten students. All ECSE, Pre-K, and Kindergarten students attend.

- January 1: New Year's Day. Schools and Central Offices closed for New Year's Day.
- January 15: End of second marking period. End of the second marking period.
- January 18: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Schools and Central Offices closed for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Commemoration.
- January 19: No school: teacher workday. Schools closed for all students for a teacher workday.
- January 20: Semester break. Schools closed for all students for semester break.
- February 9: Two-hour early dismissal. Two-hour early dismissal; no afternoon ECSE.
- February 15: Presidents Day. Schools and Central Offices closed for Presidents Day.
- March 9: Eid al-Fitr. Schools and Central Offices closed for Eid al-Fitr.
- March 17: Two-hour early dismissal. Two-hour early dismissal; no afternoon ECSE.
- March 25: End of third marking period. End of the third marking period.
- March 26 to April 2: Easter/Spring Break. Schools and Central Offices closed for Easter/Spring Break.
- April 5: No school: teacher workday. Schools closed for all students for a teacher workday.
- May 21: Last day for graduating seniors. Last day for graduating seniors.
- May 31: Memorial Day. Schools and Central Offices closed for Memorial Day.
- June 11: Last student day; end of fourth marking period. Last day for students; end of the fourth marking period.
