## 2026–27 student dates

- September 7: Labor Day. Students do not attend; Labor Day.
- September 8: First Student Day: Grades 1–12. Students in grades 1–12 report, including grade 1 in ELCs and EECs; first student day for these students.
- September 10: First Student Day: Pre-K and Kindergarten. Pre-K and kindergarten students report, including EECs, ELCs, and special education; first student day for these students.
- October 6: Early Release. Students are dismissed early.
- October 12: Indigenous Peoples Day. Students do not attend; Indigenous Peoples Day.
- November 11: Veterans Day. Students do not attend; Veterans Day.
- November 25: Early Release. Early release for students and school staff.
- November 26 to 27: Thanksgiving Recess. Students do not attend during Thanksgiving Recess.
- December 24, 2026 to January 1, 2027: Winter Recess. Students do not attend during Winter Recess. Students return January 5, 2027.
- January 4: No School for Students. Students do not attend; teachers and paraprofessionals report from winter recess. Students return January 5.
- January 5: Students Return. Students return after Winter Recess.
- January 18: M.L. King Jr. Day. Students do not attend; M.L. King Jr. Day.
- February 2: Early Release. Students are dismissed early.
- February 15: Presidents Day. Students do not attend; Presidents Day.
- February 16 to 19: February Recess. Students do not attend during February Recess. Students return February 22.
- February 22: Students Return. Students return after February Recess.
- March 26: Good Friday. Students do not attend; Good Friday.
- April 19: Patriots’ Day. Students do not attend; Patriots’ Day.
- April 20 to 23: Spring Recess. Students do not attend during Spring Recess. Students return April 26.
- April 26: Students Return. Students return after Spring Recess.
- May 31: Memorial Day. Students do not attend; Memorial Day.
- June 7: Last Day for Seniors. Last day for seniors; the calendar lists 170 days.
- June 18: Juneteenth Observed. Students do not attend; Juneteenth is observed on Friday, June 18.
- June 21: Early Release. Students are dismissed early.
- June 22: Last Day of School: Early Release. Last day of school if no days are lost due to cancellations; students are dismissed early.
