- August 10: First student day; grading period 1 begins. First student day and start of the first 9-week grading period, which runs through October 9 (44 days).
- September 7: Labor Day. No school for students for Labor Day.
- October 9: Grading period 1 ends. End of the first 9-week grading period (August 10–October 9; 44 days).
- October 12: Teacher planning day. No school for students; this is a teacher planning day and workday for teachers.
- October 13: Grading period 2 begins. Start of the second 9-week grading period, which runs through December 18 (43 days).
- November 11: Veterans Day. No school for students for Veterans Day.
- November 23 to 27: Fall/Thanksgiving break. No school for students during fall/Thanksgiving break.
- December 18: Grading period 2 ends; early release. End of the second 9-week grading period (October 13–December 18; 43 days). Early release for all students; middle and high schools have semester exams.
