## 2026–27 student dates

- August 5 to 12: Teacher Planning and Professional Development. Students do not attend during the teacher planning and professional development period, including the separately listed teacher PD day on August 6.
- August 13: Students' First Day. First day of school for students.
- September 7: Labor Day. Students do not attend for Labor Day.
- September 18: Progress Reports. Progress reports are issued.
- October 9: End of 1st Quarter. End of the first grading quarter.
- October 12: Teacher Planning Day. Students do not attend; teacher planning day.
- October 16: Report Cards. Report cards are issued.
- October 28: Early Release. Early release for students.
- November 20: Progress Reports. Progress reports are issued.
- November 23 to 27: Thanksgiving Break. Students do not attend during Thanksgiving Break.
- December 18: End of 2nd Quarter and Semester. End of the second grading quarter and first semester.
- December 21, 2026 to January 1, 2027: Winter Break. Students do not attend during Winter Break.
- January 4: Teacher Planning Day. Students do not attend; teacher planning day.
- January 11: Report Cards. Report cards are issued.
- January 18: M. L. King Jr. Day. Students do not attend for the M. L. King Jr. Day holiday.
- January 27: Early Release. Early release for students.
- February 11: Progress Reports. Progress reports are issued.
- February 15: Presidents' Day. Students do not attend for Presidents' Day.
- February 24: Early Release. Early release for students.
- March 3 to 28: State and District Assessments. State and district assessments are scheduled during this period.
- March 19: End of 3rd Quarter. End of the third grading quarter.
- March 22 to 26: Spring Break. Students do not attend during Spring Break.
- March 29: Teacher Planning Day. Students do not attend; teacher planning day.
- April 5: Report Cards. Report cards are issued.
- April 23: Progress Reports. Progress reports are issued.
- May 5: Report Cards. Report cards are issued.
- May 28: Students' Last Day. Last day of school for students.
- May 31: Memorial Day. Students do not attend for the Memorial Day holiday.
- June 1 to 2: Teacher Planning Days. Students do not attend during the teacher planning period.
