## 2026–27 student dates

- July 3: Independence Day Observed. Observed legal holiday; students do not attend.
- August 18: First Day of School. Opening day of school for students.
- August 18: First Day of School: Minimum Day. Minimum day for elementary and middle school students.
- September 7: Labor Day. Legal holiday; students do not attend.
- October 2: High School Progress Period Ends. End of first progress reporting period for high school (33 days).
- October 16: Middle School First Quarter Ends. End of first quarter for middle school (43 days).
- October 30: Elementary Progress Period Ends. End of first progress reporting period for elementary school (53 days).
- November 2: Pupil-Free Day. No school for K–12 students; pupil-free day for professional development and parent conferences.
- November 3 to 6: Elementary Parent Conference Minimum Days. Minimum days for elementary students during parent conferences.
- November 11: Veterans Day. Legal holiday; students do not attend.
- November 13: High School Progress Period Ends. End of second progress reporting period for high school (28 days).
- November 23 to 25: Fall Recess. Fall recess for students and teachers; students do not attend.
- November 26 to 27: Thanksgiving Holidays. Legal and local holidays; students do not attend.

- June 1 to 3: High School Final-Exam Minimum Days. High school final-exam minimum days.
- June 3: Final Grading-Period Boundaries. End of second semester for high school (100 days), fourth quarter for middle school (53 days), and third progress reporting period for elementary school (63 days).
- June 3: Last Day of School. Last day of school and minimum day for all students; graduation ceremonies are scheduled.
- June 18: Juneteenth Observed. Observed legal holiday; students do not attend.
